Some notes ...look for an agency that provides the facility of an

as time is money. So if you are cautious about buying a car just from an auction photograph on a website and want to see it first, this is the way to go - but it will cost!

modding
David Sleight originally found us all these pages – but not sure how useful
it might be to English speaking people – I've tracked this around
various Japanese websites for a while but tried the
Alta Vista translation tool as described by Simon M (see below) and as with all
things technical, the pages don’t translate very well. The page tells how to do this mod, also what chips
to buy and software to make your own maps for them !!! All U need to do is get the blank
EPROM's and the MAPPING software!!! (CARE - this site takes for - ever to
load ...)
Italian market secondhand GTI-R's sometimes appear here
Almost every* part for the GTI-R CARE ...
a) this is a big file (4.5mb)
b) you'll need to have installed Acrobat Reader to view it
c) it quotes part CODES - these are NOT part numbers - so ...
it's useful to find your part, get a diagram printed off & quote the part CODE to Mr Nissan who can then quickly give you a part number/availability
I've found at least one part that is not shown here - the clutch pedal strengthening bracket that is fitted as standard on my '93 car. DON'T blame Nissan ... upgrades aren't in this file (sorry!).
Leda - adjustable suspension for the GTI-R
Some GTI-R pics (mostly from existing websites)
THAT translation facility ... anything to anything?
A standard intercooler used as a frontmount - it CAN be done
Basic vehicle specs ... BTW
this shows “Vehicle weight” as 1220kg and
“Gross vehicle weight” as 1495kg i.e., with
passengers, petrol/water/oil etc

Another history lesson to wrap up anorak time - on the 1998 Tour of Mull Ian/Alison Colman starting at number 47 finished 13th ... best result set =5th fastest time on Stage 4 (13 seconds down on the best time). I'm trying to get photographs to add to the site
